Condensed Isogeometric Analysis for Plates and Shell Structures proposes a novel technique for plate and shell governing equations based on isogeometric analysis, which condenses the dynamic equilibrium equation for plate and shell structures―suitable for reducing the computation cost of large degrees of freedom due to the adoption of Non-Uniform Rational Basis Spline (NURBS) models in the plate and shell element formulations.
